The Rabbit 100 Two Tier Dwarf Rabbit Cage by Ferplast is a twin level rabbit home to bring your bunnies indoors, whilst keeping the living space of a conventional hutch.

Coming complete with:

Removable base tray for easy cleaning;
2 x Plastic Hay Racks to keep food off the ground and help keep your cage clean and food fresh;
2 x Plastic Feeding Bowl;
1 x Plastic Water Bottles;
Plastic ladder between levels.

Rabbits need lots of exercise in order to stay happy and healthy.

A rabbit should never permanently be kept in its cage and should be let out in a suitable run for exercise.

Indoor cages are only suitable as temporary homes.

Suitable for dwarf rabbits.

This product is too small for even dwarf rabbits. It would be suitable as a base as long as the rabbit is NEVER shut in there. Other possible ideas to make this a good home for a rabbit could include fixing a play pen to it creating more space for the rabbit to stretch out and hop.

The RWAF Rabbit welfare and trust fund states that the requirement for rabbits are a hutch/cage size of 6' x 2' x 2', which allows rabbits some room to move, stand on their hind legs and enough space for the food, toilet and sleeping areas to be kept apart.

This is way too small for a rabbit

I bought this cage as my two guinea pigs had out grown their previous cage. Like a lot of others, our cavies struggled with the ramp and were very reluctant to use it. This was easily solved by cutting a carpet tile and slotting pieces in between each section. We also added an additional ferplast ferret shelf and my cavies now get lots of exercise.
Good cage with a few minor adaptations.

I have 2 dwarf lop rabbits that love this cage. it is easy to clean and the trays help prevent sawdust from spilling on the floor. I had to persuade and teach them how to climb up and down the stairs but they now manage it on their own.
Animals in this cage need a lot of exercise time out of it though as it is smaller than an outdoor hutch.
I am very happy with this purchace.

I bought this cage for my 4 guinea pigs they love it. I have read reviews about this cage saying that the guinea pigs are to scared to go up and down the ladder but mine love it! Recommend this cage to anyone who wants a big cage for their small pets

I didn't read the reviews before I purchased this. I got it for my two male guinea pigs. Turned out to be a disaster. Cage is smaller in width and length compared to my ferolast 120, couldn't fit two igloos in and my boys don't do sharing! They couldn't work out the ramp so ended up arguing over a small space. Also couldnt get my guinea pig out the small door so had to take the top cage off To get to him . Can't fault pets at home customer service phoned them and returned the cage and got a full refund! Stuck to my previous cage

My rabbit hop loves it, he runs up and down and learnt in under a week,its really spacious for him and he has enough room to do everything:), i couldnt chose a better cage for him, hes about 3months old and medium size and just adores his cage, the only thing im a little sad about is the colour it only comes in grey which is really dull i just wish there was more colours:)

on the positive the cage looks good and has a lot of space.
However for my 2 guinea pigs the ramp is far too steep unless going to the shelf on the bottom level and even then they wont climb it. One of them has managed to come down it after a little nudge in the right direction but it was used more as a slide. Going to think of some method of modifying this so it is more usable.

Cleaning is also going to be difficult as you will have to dismantle the cage to get to the lower level to clean it properly. Also if the pigs are under the shelf you can't remove it without dismantling the top level so can't get hold of the pig easily. Overall good on the surface bad underneath it all.

this is very poor i brought this for my 2 guinea pigs thinking they would enjoy this but they wont go on the ramp as they are affraid , the ramp is poorly designed theres no grip on the ramp for them and theres no sides on it , i,ve totally wasted my money on this cage

Really, don't bother, It's terrible. Ramp too steep for guinea pigs and rabbits alike. Cramped and an absolute pain to clean out. Access to your animals is severely restricted.
