The Rabbit 100 Two Tier Guinea Pig and Dwarf Rabbit Cage by Ferplast is a twin level rabbit home to bring your bunnies indoors, whilst keeping the living space of a conventional hutch.

Coming complete with:

Removable base tray for easy cleaning;
2 x Plastic Hay Racks to keep food off the ground and help keep your cage clean and food fresh;
2 x Plastic Feeding Bowl;
1 x Plastic Water Bottles;
Plastic ladder between levels.

Rabbits and guinea pigs need lots of exercise in order to stay happy and healthy.

A rabbit or guinea pig should never permanently be kept in its cage and should be let out in a suitable run for exercise.

on the positive the cage looks good and has a lot of space.
However for my 2 guinea pigs the ramp is far too steep unless going to the shelf on the bottom level and even then they wont climb it. One of them has managed to come down it after a little nudge in the right direction but it was used more as a slide. Going to think of some method of modifying this so it is more usable.

Cleaning is also going to be difficult as you will have to dismantle the cage to get to the lower level to clean it properly. Also if the pigs are under the shelf you can't remove it without dismantling the top level so can't get hold of the pig easily. Overall good on the surface bad underneath it all.

this is very poor i brought this for my 2 guinea pigs thinking they would enjoy this but they wont go on the ramp as they are affraid , the ramp is poorly designed theres no grip on the ramp for them and theres no sides on it , i,ve totally wasted my money on this cage

Really, don't bother, It's terrible. Ramp too steep for guinea pigs and rabbits alike. Cramped and an absolute pain to clean out. Access to your animals is severely restricted.

got it home easy to assemble but very flimsy and my rabbit struggled to get up the ramp and when she did the ramp bowed in and she couldnt fit through the top hole

wasnt really worth the money i feel like ive let my pet down by buying this

dont let it put you off it would be good for a smaller but stronger rabbit bredd

I purchased this cage when I got my 2 guinea pigs [...]. It is a lovely looking cage but it was not practical for me. I had it for a month and at no time did my guinea pigs venture down the ramp. I had to place them in the lower level and although they knew that the ramp led to their house thay would not use it. The ramp is quite steep and has no sides on it. After about a month the piggies started to fight due to lack of space in the upper level. [...]

I have two mini lops and and both of them found the ladder to steep. The bigger one could not fit through the top gap. Not great.

The cage is good, easy to construct.
It can very easily be taken apart (the wire just unclips from base) to be cleaned (I would say it's easier to clean than my Ferplast 120).
The top door is great, and the bottom door serves its purpose - if your pet wants to come out then it can easily manage to hop in and out of the bottom door. I find it is a good idea to put a small platform outside the door to make it easier.
The same water bottle came with my Ferplast 120 and my rabbit chewed through the rubber holding the metal bit to the plastic, so I haven't bothered using it this time (I just use my other one, bought after he chewed the first one). The hay racks are great and just clip on - must go with the bottom tucked just inside the edge of the base though (or else you end up with hay everywhere).
The cage has some movement when the rabbit is upstairs, but it is stable enough.
The cage seems quite a lot smaller than my Ferplast 120, however it is still big enough for my mini rex rabbit. The house bit seems small, however it is no smaller than the entrance to a burrow (as they would have in the wild) - and the rabbit seems to love squeezing into it (it's big enough inside, just the door is a bit small).
There isn't really enough room for him to lie stretched out on the top of the house/food bit (he loves doing this), and there was on the Ferplast 120 - so this is a slight downside.
The main bad point is the ladder going from the bottom to top level - it is not wide enough for him to climb up/down safely(he fell off once or twice), and it is too steep if sitting on the ground(more like a slide than a ladder). I will be modifying it to make it more rabbit-friendly.
Overall a good cage, however would recommend that you stick with the Ferplast 120 or 140.

since exammining this in the shop i noticed a few things, not only is the steps a bad design no piggy on earth will climb up them!
the lower cage opening won't be big enough to get out a fully grown guinea pig and it wabbles like mad!
completley a waste of money a FAR BATTER cage is the ferplast 120 or even better the ferplast 140
i have the 140 and it is the best buy you could possibly want.

This product is amazing! I had the ferplast 80 cage to start with for my two baby guineas but didn't know how quickly they would grow! I decided to get this 2 story cage and was so happy when i opened the box. It was easy to put together and they have loads of room to run around and chase each other. My larger guinea uses the ladder no problem but the little one is still getting used to it (I will have to put some extra grips on it for them). Overall I am very happy with this cage and have no faults with it at all
