Unlike conventional dog leads and collars, the Red Nylon Dog Harness directs and controls your dog from its body and not the neck, allowing for a more friendly, comfortable and controlled walk.

My rescue 4yo Boxer tows like a train with her normal neck collar, but from the moment I put this harness on her she just stopped pulling. There was an unexpected bonus in that the D rings being permanently on top of the dog's back, the long lead does not get tangled up with her legs every time there is any slack in it.The only minor niggle was the adjustment buckles which I found very fiddly, but once set they do not need touching again.

Slightly easier walks!

We adopted a 9 year old lab who is fantastic in every way other than on the lead - he pulls terribly and slipped out of his collar so I did not feel confident walking him, especially as he has no road sense at all.

I bought the harness instore and was helped by a staff member to find the best fit. Although he is a relatively small lab, the large size was best. The harness is adjustable although the chest strap is a bit big, despite being tightened as much as possible. This doesn't cause a problem though and it fits perfectly everywhere else.

Wearing this harness, he still pulls just as much however it is much easier to correct him with a quick tug on the lead and it definitely makes it easier on our arms! The main thing is that he doesn't choke when he pulls, which he did on just a normal collar, and he can't escape.

I don't think our dog had ever been on a lead before we adopted him and, due to his age, I'm not sure we will ever be able to correct the pulling but we will continue to work on this with him. In the meantime, this harness has meant that we are able to walk him so he can get the exercise and mental stimulation he needs without damaging his neck/throat or our arms!

I have a medium and large for both of my dogs, it is a great harness easy to put on when you figure which way is up for the first time! Both my dogs pull and this helps alleviate some of the problem. However if they pull too much it can make them sore under the legs, which it did for my oldest dog. The only downside is that if your dog wriggles backwards being awkward they can pull out of the harness without it opening.

torn and broke within a month

we used a large red harness to walk our 18month old german shep. the nylon as torn in 2 places and has torn through on the chest part. yes our dog pulls a bit, shes new to us and needs trained but it should beable to hold her!

will be taking it back later

Got this product in the Medium black for a 7 month old staff pup after reading that some others were not a good fit.
The harness is fully adjustable (even the chest strap) and really easy to fit (even for an excitable pup) one I figured out the right way to fit it.
Looks good. Stops him from pulling excessively, Only wears for walks so even though nylon it is durable and comfy for him.
Will def upgrade to the bigger size once he outgrows this one and for the price I don't care that this might be in a couple of months.

This product is easily the best dog harness i have ever bought for my dogs as i believe walking by collar damages the necks of dogs. This harness is durable and cleanable which is very practical especially with long haired breeds. I have found this product very easy to control our dogs when they are over excited and when they are off lead. The harness has and easy clip to be easy to put it on and to hook leads on and off them. This is a product that i would buy time and time again for all the dogs i own because it is a cracking product.

I absolutely love this harness. As a new dog owner i was worried in case the collar was too harsh for my puppies neck but with the harness u have more control and it feels friendlier to use. 10 out of 10 :-D
