The Repti Glo 10.0 Desert Terrarium Lamp by Exo Terra is a fluroescent lighting tube for your terrarium.
The most important feature of a fluorescent lamp is the ability to emit sufficient UVB light, a component of sunlight.
The Repti Glo 10.0 provides high levels of UVA (33%) and UVB (8%) making them suitable for animals from desert environments that are used to direct sunlight, low humidity and little shade.
With an Ultra High UVB output, the lamp is effective up to 50cm.
The Reptiglo 10.0 provides necessary UVB rays for optimal calcium metabolism.
It is recommended for use with screened terrariums, terrariums with dense screen covers (screens can filter out UVB rays).
Recommended in combination with Repti Glo 2.0 for a higher visual light output.
Available in 14w (38cm), 15w (45cm), 20w (60cm), 25w (75cm) sizes.
