The Rose Run has a hinged top door and lift out side doors for easy access providing your pet with the space that they need to play and exercise in safety.

It is best to ensure that your run is in a safe, sheltered position before introducing your pet.

Remember, rabbits and guinea pigs should be put in a run or secure garden area for a minimum of 4 hours per day.

Easy to assemble and great for small garden like mine. Particularly like it's height - many runs on the market are only 45cm high - not high enough for bunny to jump up onto boxes etc.
However, I am puzzled by one reviewer who says it folds up easily - only if you completely disassemble it; the only hinges are on the roof! As the entire construction is screwed together I had to ask a neighbour to help me move it for fear of shifting the screws and breaking the wood. The wood seems quite hard enough but it would be quite easy to split it and that would be that.
I am also disappointed in the complete lack of instructions/information ref. care of the product. It doesn't even say it is suitable for outdoor use! One would assume it is but in the event of a problem are PaH going to respond with "not recommended on packaging for exterior use ..." ?? [Bearing in mind the hutch covers are not waterproof !!!] If it needs to be treated then it should say so - and what with!
My bunny however is v. pleased with it - he is a 're-home' and clearly had never been outside before and spends his time just sitting on his heels watching and listening to the birds - I am sure he will get a lot of pleasure out of it, consequently so will I.

This product has been really good, i have owned one for over a year and it is still fine. Yes the rabbits have eaten the wood and revealed some of the nails, but this has not affected the strength of the run...and from my experience rabbits will eat anything made from wood.

I would recommend this run, as it folds down easily, can be moved around the garden by one person and is easy to set up.

I would buy some toys to put into the run to keep your animals entertained.

size good and easy to build, unfortunately the wood is very soft and low density. I could actually pull the wood apart with my finger nails! The rabbits have gone through the wood to the metal screws in less time than it took me to build it!

I bought this run for my two dwarf rabbits and even though they are dwarfs, it's not really big enough and I think I will have to get a second and attach the two together. Don't get me wrong-there are much smaller runs on the market, but they aren't suitable either. My rabbits generally seem happy in it, but now they are fully grown (even as dwarfs), they need more room. It would probably be fine for one bunny, but then you wouldn't want to keep just one bunny without a friend anyway. It was very easy to put together-did it easily single handedly during my daughter's nap and only need a screwdriver. I haven't had trouble with gnawing, but this has happened to my hutch, which is the same wood-that was chewed within a very very short space of time and I'm sure if my rabbits weren't budy with their tunnels and plant pots, this run would be easily chewed too. The mesh is very strong though and it is easy to move around the garden. It does need some shade-I am going to have to buy one separately as it doesn't seem that PAH do a compatible cover for this.

This run was extremely quick and easy to set up, and having owned it for several months with three bunnies I haven't experienced the problem of them gnawing through it as other people have. However, I bought it to go with the Rose hutch and the two don't line up. To be fair PAH never put in the product descriptions that they would, but it seems to me that if you give a hutch and a run the same name they are probably meant to be compatible. Unfortunately whilst you can remove a panel of the run to allow it to be used with a hutch, you cannot detach the hutch's door so there is a huge gap where they don't meet which I've had to block up due to escaping bunnies, and also the run is lower than the ground story of the hutch meaning that a clever bunny can jump out that way too.

This is a good product but doesn't have any shade! I had to build on some extra sides out of wood to make it shaded (before I had time to do this I put a towel on there). If left with the cage as it is in the sun there is a big chance of sunburn on the ears, discomfort and over heating. Guinea pigs should never be exposed to bright sunlight for more than a few minutes.
It's nice and spacious but no more than 4 guinea pigs should be in there at the same time.

I bought this run for my 2 recently adopted boy guinea pigs. They look forward to playing in the run and it is very secure and reliable. It was easy to put together but remember to weatherproof it. I put a log house in it along with 2 chubes and balls, which gives them lots of fun! It is a good size and allows you to get in the run with them.

When you need more than chicken wire...

I have four of these runs for my young Mini Lop Rabbits. With three dogs and lots of tennis balls flying around the garden, I wanted a run that had stronger mesh than the standard chicken wire, and this fitted the bill.

They are easy to assemble and I have treated mine to help them withstand the weather. Thus far, they appear to be well-made. None of my rabbits are chewers, but I can see that if they were, I would have to screw something like skirting board protectors to the wooden frame (which I imagine would be the same for any wooden run).

I would like to point out that one run on its own permanently is not large enough, and whilst there is a single lift-out door, the run would benefit from another door, as I have had to remove one whole end of each run when connecting two or more together.

The minor customisation has been worth it, as the wire is sturdier than chicken wire and I have happy rabbits.

I have bought 4 of PAH's previous, less expensive runs. My 14 rabbits eat them as they find the wood irresistible, which is worrying as what they are treated with is unknown. Perhaps its that which adds the flavour & smell!

The metal grille is tough & provides the bracing & protection, but its holes will allow small rodents through.
When a rabbit has knawn away the wood, the holding screws are exposed.

These runs would be more appealing if made from a stronger, denser wood. Average durability for rabbits is 1 year max.
