Of all the toys that I spoiled my new kitten with, this is her favourite. She plays for hours with this. She also walks around with the toy in her mouth, dragging the stick behind. We bought a 2nd bird toy after a few weeks. She's now nearly 1yr old and we've just bought the mouse version. Also great, as a previous reviewer said, for coaxing away from forbidden distractions like Christmas trees. Well made and hard wearing.

We got our kitten from Gables and his favourite toy is the mouse style wand. Great for building a bond with your cat and our cat also likes to play with it himself. A great toy for coaxing the cat from naughty places (like the Xmas tree!)

I bought one of these- the one with the chicken- for my nervous foster cat who had been a stray. He was scared of other teaser toys as they were just too big and bulky. This is smaller with a shorter length elastic and he soon learnt how to have fun with it and loves it dearly. So much in fact that he'd climb up the sides of the pen to get to it! The fact that the elastic is quite short is useful for playing with cats in the foster pen. I bought two more for my new boys and they already love them too.
