This was one of the first toys I bought for my rats and they love it.

They use it as a ladder to get to other areas of the cage and enjoy climbing up it. They do not seem to chew it so it has lasted a long time... It is best suited to a large cage but can still be cleverly utilised to fit most cages.

Easy to fasten onto the cage and feels secure. It is also easy to wash (soak or machine wash) but does not seem to need washing as much as hammocks (which get peed on a lot)

Expensive, but worthwhile and I would definitely recommend.

The rope bridge is very good for degus,chinchillas,rats,and larger animals, however it is quite long so you would need a long cage!
Degus love it and climb on it quite often though!

My rats Millie and Daisy think their bridge is great- it's good looking, great for hiding the odd treat in and the rope itself is so tough that I don't think they'll ever make a dent in it!

My only caution is that after a couple of months, one of my girls got a shock when she walked onto one of the 4 rope endings as she had done many times before (screwed in white plastic onto the bars, you can see the fittings on the picture), and fell to the ground quite heavily because the rope broke away from the fitting. Millie is very old so she weighs less than average. These 4 rope endings are only glued into the white plastic fittings so go in store and give all 4 a tug to make sure they're all secure if you don't want your rat getting a nasty surprise like Millie did :( or superglue them like I've done!

This is a great product. My rats absolutely love it and it is a must to add excitement to the cage. Unfortunately, they are a bit expensive, but considering how long it has lasted (and it has not been chewed AT ALL), I'm pretty impressed with the value. If your rats have a habit of peeing on it, it can be cleaned in the washing machine easily, just put it in with your hammocks and bedding! Definitely a must have.

This toy is great and my six rats love it!
It can be fitted easily to the cage bars and set up however you like. It' is very sturdy and strong so it's worth the money. You can hide treats in it to keep your pets occupied while your not there.
As well as an excellent boredom breaker it's also a nice decoration to the cage and if you buy other toys and boredom breakers you can actually set up a whole agility course right there in their cage!
