good for c&c cages...

After going through water bottles for my guinea pigs, from the cheap to the stupidly expensive...i settled with this one. So far, (after around 5 months use) its not let me down once and is a 'doddle' to refill. Should mention that my piggies are in a indoor c&c cage and the bottle fits on fab! Really pleased with my purchase!

Don't buy stopper rusts stopping the animal drinking doesn't fix on to the cage properly it's rubbish

The water bottle took like 1 hour to set up but it's really good because when I bought the cage there was a water bottle with it and that water bottle leaked but this water bottle is really good my dwarf hamster loves this bottle!!!

I had very young Gerbils, so when I put up this waterbottle, they jumped up onto it and started to chew the lid. Finally after three days of non stop chewing, the waterbottle spout was the only thing left. The good thig was that it was easy to clean and fill up everyday, but I wouldent recommend it to owners with young pets.

Depends on the hamster

This bottle has a little nub that the animal needs to push up to get the water to flow. I bought it because I have a big split-level glass tank for my hams, and it was the only one suitable for a glass enclosure that I could find!

My previous hamsters were roborovskis and a Chinese dwarf in turn. None of these had difficulty using this type of bottle; in fact my Chinese used to use his little paws to push it up in a very human-like way. But I've just got my first Syrian and the poor thing seems to have no idea what to do with it; he's just licking it like a normal ball-bearing loaded bottle.

There needs to be a larger range of bottles for glass or plastic enclosures! Now I need to get my hands on a 'normal' bottle and some double-sided velcro...

All my rats love this and i find it so much better than the other water bottles I tried which dripped constantly this product doesn't drip at all I have 2 attached to my large rat cage and one on the smaller cage none have any problem with it and they even drink from the same one at the same time

We had to buy one of these for both our syrian hamsters as they had both destroyed the cheaper water bottles by chewing on them! The only bad thing is they are really difficult to detach from the cage to clean but they are very durable and the hamsters seem to like them.

It's quite good for the Rabbit run and it can drink it out of there, however for the hutch its totally rubbish. It attatches to the Rabbit run fine, however the hutch it does not attach at all. The good things are that it does not drip all the time, but it does not let much water out either. I have to admit its alright, but not something I would buy every day, took about 3 days to figure out how to use it. Not bad, but if you need it for a hutch, look at something else!
