This is probably one of my favourite products, all three of my syrian hamsters absalutely love it, I place it upside down hanging on the top of the cage for my young female who has so much energy its hard to keep her occupied, she loves it and simply stretches out and heaves herself up to it from the floor (which has a very big gap) I couldn't believe it at first she's such a strong little thing but she seems to love doing it and then just looks through all the hidey holes around the cage, it certainly keeps her toned! my two other syrians are both older gentlemen so I have it placed at the bottom of there cages feet down and they like walking through it and peeping through the holes, I think its a great product, good value for money, i cant say they ever sleep in it its more of a hideaway/toy really as all my syrians are too big and seem to hang out each end of they tried to sleep in it.

This is great! My hammie loves it! At first I was a bit skeptical about this, when I finally assembled it (Took a while) I placed some ladders from it to the floor, It turns out It didn't even use them, he would rather climb the bars to get to it! Its really cosy for him and he has his little food stash hid in the bottom of it, Half the time I check on him hes fast asleep in there!

This is a fun little hidey-hole for my Syrian hamster. I have a cage with a deep plastic base and then bars the rest of the way. This hangs very easily from the ceiling bars and really would be suited to any cage with ceiling bars, no matter what the bar spacing. I just wanted to leave this review for people who intend to buy this to sit on the floor of a cage. The description does indeed say that it is suitable for hanging from bars AND to sit on it's base, however that really isn't the case. The base of this item is rounded, and if you set it down on any flat surface it will roll over. I highly recommend this item, ONLY for use with a bar ceiling though. <3

i brought this for my russian dwarf hamster after reading that you could have it on the floor rather than the top of the cage if you wanted to. When I recieved the product and placed it in the cage, I was dissapointed that the bottom was oval shaped so it kept tipping over when I placed it on the floor (the top was not wired that much). My hamster did not go in it at all (only when I placed him,and then he would jump straight out. On the plus side, it was only about [$] which I thought was reasonable.

I put this in my gerbil cage, the next day , i had seen that they had chewed it all up , NOT GOOD FOR GERBILS THAT LOVE TO GNAW

Clever, Unique and simply 'Hamsterific'!

I loved this product!

You buy it set up, which is great, although dismantling it takes seconds, and putting it together even less time! Lovely assortment of colours, although both pieces of the 'House' are the same colour, unlike in the online photo!
It can hang from the top of your cage/hamster area or stand up, which is great if you have no way of your hamster getting to the top of the cage, or no room at the bottom for it ( for example if you have platforms). Just to say, it's size means you might, if on top of cage, need a ramp to get it to it, or just ( if dwarf(s) hamster(s) ) 2 shoelaces, so it can get to it. Hanging wise, it clips easily to all wire cages, but for plastic ones, I'd attach it with blue-tack or non-toxic glue if putting it on top. Otherwise, it'd have to stand up.
Then there are 2 ways for your hamster to use this awesome product. As a bed for them to nest in or as a toy. They can play hide and seek in it, or have fun trying to jump into it!

Would recommend you have a wheel as well though, I keep mine with the wheel and it likes to use it as a bed and toy, but uses the wheel a lot. Unlike other reviews, this product is NOT enough for the exercise a hamster needs! But I don't think it is intended for that!

Finally, this product is VERY versatile and extremely durable. I cannot find a fault with it ( except the sticker/label on it is very very sticky!!!). My hamsters love it ( oh and fine for all hamster sizes and species!).

Service & Delivery comments:

I didn't order this product, but bought in stock because I wanted to properly see the colours, size and feel the product before buying it, because I know some faulty toys. BUT this was amazing priced, SO cheap and I didn't need any service!

My hamster PT loved this!(She was a school hamster) We hung it at the top of the cage quite far away from the platform because she loved jumping. When she got older she couldn't get through the hole :S .We originally bought it for it to jump onto or just as a toy but pretty soon it took lots of wood shavings up there and loved to sleep in it! She looked so cute in there! It was kinda hard to take off for cleaning though, and once when I tried to take it off I snapped it! It was totally my fault though.It is mainly for smaller hamster though. When we cleaned it we kept her in there.She was totally happy!

this product is very good because you can hang it from the top of the cage or keep it on the ground. my hamster harry does not sleep in it but as i hang it from his cage he loves to jump from it! He doesnt use his wheel or any other toys when this is in his cage. I would recommend this to a friend.

Our hamster never uses his wheel so only gets his exercise every night in his ball or being handled. I replaced the wheel with this yesterday (might be a bit cramped with two items in cage) and he was in it like a shot. He was poking his head out of all three holes and then had a very lengthy wash in it so I took that as he approved.
