I got a pack of this free with a gerbilarium and they attempt to burrow in it, but it is just too fine and thin for them to do so. I have been using the woodchip and they love it and it is more thicker for burrows.

Perfect for gerbils

Love this sawdust. It's the best I have found. It's very fine so my gerbils can make tunnels in it easily and it looks great in my desert themed gerbil tanks. The only problem is, I wish they did it in bigger bags like they do with the wood shavings. I have 10 gerbils in 4 tanks so I have to buy loads of the small sawdust bags to have enough. I'd rather buy one huge bag. Having to use the wood shavings more often to save money and get more in just one bag. Please make large sawdust available!

I use this in my Gerbilarium for my Syrian hamster. He burrows in it and although some owners say it is bad for hamsters because they get eye infections, so far so good. It is really easy to clean and works well inside a tank so they grains don't go every which way! I keep my hamster in my bedroom so as you will know hammy hygiene is a top priority for anyone who keeps them in the house or bedroom. The

i buy this and have ever since i started having bunnies, i use it for the litter trays its absorbant and last 2 days for me. its dust free and soft so your pet will be comfoprtable if you put it in itys bedding.
