i bought this as it was cheap and did the job. i fitted the template and the cat flap realising i cut the hole too small even though i used the template. no problem i measured the cat flap and cut it again, great it worked! it fits wooden, glass, pvc and all other materials well. it is easy to install despite the minor glitch.
it goes both ways and has a slide in plastic panel to act as a lock and removable magnetic strips to stop draught and it accidently opening and closing in the wind. it does the job well and is available in brown (it doesn't go yellow over time like white) but brown doesn't have a tunnel to install in glass doors. you can inexpensively buy that seperately.

In general this is good for the price and does the job, cat took to it well. My only warning is to be careful when cutting the hole, you only have a few mm margin of error on the width and if you go too wide by more than a few mm then you may have some real problems when fitting it. I would err on the side of caution when cutting the hole and make it slightly narrower then widen as needed. If it is too narrow then you can fix it however if you go too wide (by a small amount) then you will have trouble.

If you are not confident with a jigsaw it may be worth going for the "4 Way Manual Locking Cat Flap 300" for the extra £10 or so it does give a much larger margin of error on the cutting.

Really quick and easy to install. Cats took to it immediatly so easy for them to use. Slightly tricky to make the supplied screws shorter if you don't have the right tools. Definitely the best priced cat flap if your not worried about one-way locking doors or magnetic collar releases.
