A Very poorly designed product.
If running of a battery they last a couple of months only.
Also, the "porch" has to be the worst example of engineering ever. It constantly falls off and prevents our cat getting in. She has been trapped outside on numerous occasions. Not good when you have other cats and hungry foxes around.
We had this fitted into a patio door and the glazier even commented about the awful design of it. Have now brought another product which does the same thing - but with batteries that last and no annoying "porch".

Love this cat flap, no more intruders to annoy my three cats.

Has become the kitten's favourite game to taunt the neighbouring cats before charging for home leaving the pursuer to headbutt a locked flap! May have knocked out a few cats but the cat flap is still in one piece.

Needs a few hands to help with the programming.

Had one of these to replace a staywell cat flap that needed a key on the collar. As my 2 moggies did not like wearing a collar it cost us loads of money to keep replacing the keys when the collar went missing. We also had to replace the flap on the staywell 6 times at the cats kept running right through the flap when it was locked. We very dubious about this when I saw how flimsy looking the locks were but after 2 years have been proved wrong. Keeps cats in at night and other cats out. Love the fact that you only have to press one button to lock tha cat flap (and so far they have not worked out how to unlock it like they did the staywell). It may be a lot of money but we sepnt more than this cost on replacement parts for the old staywell and no more lost caooars or keys

I kept getting other cats in my home, eating my cat's food, she got really stressed, so I bought one - it broke - I had no receipt - I bought a second, it too has broken - in exactly the same place. The little green tab by the door.

Really if you are going to spend over £90 on a cat flap you do not expect it to break

Once again I have a stressed female cat who at 4am this morning had to fight off a huge tom - who had come into the house

This is a cracking product and works a treat. You need a socket close by and it is a bit cumbersome, but the pros far outway the cons. Once it is set up you will no lomger have nocturnal visits from the neighbourhood cats.
