Not good for cats - I took mine back!

I bought this for my cats, more to keep the food fresh really. But the actual bowl bit was too deep for both my cats, and they ended up just putting their paw in to get some out and eating it off the floor! Took it back to the shop after a day. I now have a 'whiskas' bowl and it is much better. Happier cats and happier owner!

Got two for my dogs and it is not very good. The food over flows the bowl and i thought it would be coming in small bulk, but it comes all at once and it over feeds my dog. I would only recomend this if you are going out for a long while.

I purchased the Smart Snacker Food Dispenser for my outdoor cat specifically for when I unexpectedly needed to be away from home for a week. I filled the dispenser with biscuits and placed it underneath the garden table umbrella to ensure her food remained dry in the case of bad weather. I introduced her to the Smart Snacker a couple of days before I went away and she was happy. Upon my return home, I saw she had been eating well; the remaining biscuits stayed dry and fresh thanks to the dispenser even though we had had heavy rain for a few days. I thought I would keep the Smart Snacker out for her until the remaining biscuits were gone, however, I changed my mind as I could not really tell how many biscuits she was eating each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner (along with her meat and fish sachets; in separate bowls of course!) Whilst I have been at home, I have put the Smart Snacker away for now until it is needed again and she has returned to using her cat bowl. I would recommend the Smart Snacker Food Dispenser if you are going away and are unable to feed your pet or if you are at work during the day. I do not think meat sachets would be a good idea for this product….Even though you do need to shelter it if you will be placing it outdoors as the bowl is not covered, I would definitely recommend this product. Really good product for a multi-cat household. With six cats, I find that two will keep them going for a whole day. Being transparent, easy to see when it needs topping up. Looks tidier on the floor than a load of conventional cat bowls.
The main con is the fact that it is a bit lightweight. When it's empty, or almost, one or the other will poke in a greedy paw to retrieve the last biscuit and send it flying across the floor. But on the whole, excellent.

I have 5 cats in total,4 Adults and 1 Kitten,This feeder is by far the best Item that I have Purchased!!The amount of cat bisuits that I was wasting with a normal dish was terrible,I purchased the feeder and The spillage stopped.So a definate plus with this feeder you save money(who does not want that!!!).The biscuits are kept fresher and It also is a new game for my cats when the biscuits need to be replenished.Buy this feeder you will not be disappointed!!!!!

You would not need to get up again and again to feed the cat. You can just fill it up and when ever the cat eats it will fill it up its self after the cat has eaten.

Easy to use, easy to clean and keeps a constant supply of fresh crunchies coming. Also cuts down on the ammount dropped on the floor as it has a generous bowl size. Perfect for my three cats and three kittens and the litter on the way!
