Hamsters are naturally omnivores; in the wild they eat cereals and grains but also insects and grubs.

Supa Hamster Dwarf Hamster Harvest by Burgess is made with this in mind and includes mealworm, helping to keep your furry friend healthy and happy.

Canary Seeds, Millet, Grass Pellets, Maize, Peas, Toasted Soya Flakes, Toasted Wheat Flakes, Sunflower Seeds, Meal Worms, Poultry Fat.

Analytical Constituents:

Protein 17.5%, Oils and fats 6.0%, Fibre 9.0%, Ash 6.0%, Vitamin A 8,000 iu/kg, Vitamin D3 1,500 iu/kg, Vitamin E 30mg/kg, Copper (as Copper Sulphate) 10mg/kg.

Feeding Guide (approximate per day)

It must be FULL of sugar because my 3 dwarf hamsters are all running around crazy since they got it :-( Would recommend Harry Hamster food or Wagg or pets at home muesli. And like most people's hamsters
none of my 5 hamsters have ever liked the black sticks, so why have
them? Take them out or its a waste

This was the first bag of hamster food I bought for my Russian dwarfs Vlad and Dima. They eat pretty much everything and leave only the little black stick things (whatever they even are anyway >__>) Could do with a little bit more meal worms in it as they seem to like them. Pretty good value for money and I'll be sticking with it.

I usually buy my dwarf hamstes Pika and Chu food from my local pet shop which costs £1 a bag, and they love it, but thought I'd give them a little change of food so they didn't get bored eating the same food day in day out, as I'd get bored eating something every day for weeks! Plus I thought this one would be healthier. So I decided to buy this product as it was especially for dwarfies and from looking at the other reviews I had high expectations for it.

Pika and Chu didn't like it at all, they barely ate any of it and after 3 days had to change their food back to the pet shop one. I may try and mix both foods together to get rid of it as it seems a waste.

This was just down to my hammies personal choice, yours may love it, plus I'd recommend it as it contains less sugar than normal hamster food. Regular hamster food can be high in sugar, Syrian hamsters can take more sugar but Dwarfs as they're smaller can develop diabetes easier!

Over all I feel it's a bit over priced but worth it for your hammies health. Though mine did not like it so won't be buying it again.

As soon as I changed my Chinese hamster's diet to this I noticed that her attitude was a whole lot better.

She's not as timid as she used to be, and doesn't get annoyed as much when I pick her up. She's much friendlier. Plus she doesn't leave anything out, like she did with the Pets At Home own brand of hamster food.

THIS IS A GREAT FOOD MY HAMSTERS LOVE IT EXEPT THEY ALWAYS LEAVE OUT THE BROWN STICK BITS (thats what they look like) BUT THAT MAY JUST BE MY HAMSTERS YOUR MAY BE DIFFERENT !!! :)

ALSO I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD PRICE AND I WILL HAPPILY BUY IT AGAIN AND ALSOI WOULD RECOMEND TO A FRIEND !!

I bought this food for my Chinese and Roborovski hamsters as they always left the larger pieces of their regular mix untouched and I was concerned they may be losing out on nutrition.

The dwarf hamster mix has lots of very small pieces that my dwarves seem more inclined to eat, especially the tiny seeds. It reads on the bag that dwarves have little mouths and like little food, which certainly seems true as my pets leave far less of this mix uneaten. It seems inevitable that some pets will leave parts of a mix untouched but at least with this, far less is unwanted. It also contains dried mealworms which are nutritious and my dwarves love them, they're the first thing to be eaten when I refresh their bowl.

The only con I have for this product is that I wish the bag was resealable; the food so tiny that seeds manage to escape from the bag more easily.

I thoroughly recommend this product for dwarves. They find it tasty, there is less waste due to no large chunks and I've found that the bag lasts a few weeks.
