Supadog Puppy Chicken and Naked Oats is a complete dry food designed to supply all puppies and growing dogs with essential nutrients.

The high protein food (28%) is ideal for growing muscles and also contains naked oats for slow energy release throughout the day.

Love this food have been using it for years even before it was revamped with oats. It's a small nugget, complete feed for puppy's – sensibly priced. We have been breeding dogs for many years and have used this food to for our pups too wean them off mums milk onto this then eventually from this onto adult food when they are of a suitable age. Never had any issues with it, we soak it fully in cold water then mash it up with our hands and feed to pups, eventually as they get the hang of it we just soak it and they eat it happily without it being mashed. If you add hot water to it does smell like hot oats but doesn't turn into porridge unless you mash it. But over all can't fault it good quality food, all ingredients are harvest in the UK and sensibly priced plus they do small bags so you can give them to new puppy owners with their pups which is good.

I was most dissapointed with this product as it does not go to a porridge when mixed with water (or milk) as it days it will, soaks up all the liquid but stays springy to the touch even after hours of soaking. This is no use as a transitional food for weaning them on.
It is however probably under rated food for older puppies who are on complete dry food as it is a good quality food at a reasonable price.
