Brought this as my male guinea pig likes to pull on the metal tube and destroyed his plastic one, brought this one as it seems sturdy. Filled it up that evening for him and left it by morning water has all gone, refiled it and done the school 20mins later returned and the bottle was empty and had a cage full of water. I refilled it and held it up with the spout facing down and the water was dripping out very fast. In all was very dossapointed by this as it cost quiet a bit more than a normal plastic bottle. The only good thing was the fixtures and the flaoting duck. Would not reccomend at all.

i brought this as i was fed up of the plastic water bottles leaking all the time in my rabbits hutch,its a really good non leaking bottle, pricey but worth it for a dry hutch!!

This is a great water bottle, it secures to the cage with two fastenings so there are no worries about it getting knocked off. There is a sweet little duck so that you can see what the water level is (my kids thought this was ace). I bought this as our 2 new guinea pigs didnt seem to be drinking much and I saw a review saying that someone elses guinea pigs drunk more from this bottle than a coloured one, so I decided that even though it was alot more money than the plastic ones we would give it ago and YES it does work they now drink loads more which can only be a good thing. I like the fact that you can also fix the water bottle inside the cage as well if you want to.

I got this bottle on advice from staff instore as the one I had had started leaking after 3 years use because my bunny chews the spout. Although 2x the price of a straight replacement of the plastic bottle I thought it would be worth it. Barely two months on it leaks so badly that a full bottle drains in less that ten minutes. Completely useless!

I've had rabbits for years and guinea pigs for the last 3 years, but had always used plastic bottles.However when I first got my guinea pigs I decided to read up online and saw that glass was often recommended as small animals seem to drink morefrom the glass than they do from plastic.There is a considerable price differance between the glass and plastic, but I have to say it's worth it.My guinea pigs water bottle reaches near empty everyday as opposed to sitting more than half full for days.They drink so much more now which helps decrease their chance of getting bladder stones (common to guinea pigs).I've been so impressed I replaced the rabbits plastic water bottles with glass.Slightly pricier as I said but so much better,you'll definatly notice a differance.

I have one of these for my two ferrets. It is easy to fasten to the side of their wire cage. This bottle is made of glass, whereas I had previously used the plastic bottle type. With the plastic ones, it is recommended to fill it to the brim to prevent leaking so I did the same with this glass one only to discover it wouldn't release any water at all. I thought it was faulty until I poured out a bit of water so as to make it about 80% full, and then it worked fine. My ferrets prefer using this one than the 2 plastic ones I also have. There is a little plastic duck inside to indicate the water level.

I got this because it looked durable. However the ball bearing at the bottom of the drinking spout leaks and floods the pen. I took it apart and gave everything a good clean, but it still leaks. I'd take it back if i still had the reciept.

I bought this for my dog's crate as he is a bearded breed and drinking from a bowl meant he was constantly dripping everywhere. I thought he might have trouble learning how to use it, but he took to it immediately. I prefer the fact it's glass compared to plastic and it's a good size for a small dog and I've never had a problem with it leaking. It's also good that it's chew resistant even though my puppy never really tried to chew it. The tiny plastic duck is a stroke of genius which helps you keep an eye on the water level. P@H do sell a plastic one specifically for dog crates but it costs more than this and doesn't get good reviews.

First of these bottles is great, the rats love it.

however, brought another one but constantly leaked and flooded the cage, so changed it, but that one also leaks and floods cage, so have to go back to the shop yet again to try and get another hopefully non leaking one.

my bun found this very difficult to drink from as the nozzle is very big (when i buy her a new bottle i keep an eye on how much she drinks) luckily i noticed she was having problems with it so quickly replaced it with her old plastic one which leaks, how come they can put men on the moon but can't invent a bottle that doesn't leak !!!! needless to say i will be taking this product back asap
