Bought this for my two guineas, they love the hay but they don't seem too keen on the apple and carrot - they didn't eat much of the dried stuff in it. I suppose it depends if its for your pet.

My rabbit loves this hay! It keeps him occupied when we go out and he doesn't want to play with his toys. We have tried many other hays and we always come back to this one, he eats this hay with more enthusiasm and loves the little pieces of dried carrot and apple. The only problem I have is that he eats it too quickly! :)
If this was made for guinea pigs I would give it to them as well!

Carrot and apple... why?

I like the Woodlands brand alot so decided to buy this hay as a treat for my clan of guinea pigs. They loved the hay and ate it all up quickly but they left the bits of apple and carrot on the cage floor.
I don't see the point of adding little bits of dried up fruit/veg to the hay? If you want to feed them vegetables or fruit then give them the fresh stuff that is more tasty and has more vitamin C in it.
My guinea pigs loved the hay but hated the extra bits. If this hay didn't have the apple and carrot bits in it then I would buy it again. Dissapointed. Waste of money.
