this says its tough my dog is not even a year old yet and it took him half an hour to have it in to pieces and the rope out and unravelled. when you buy something that says tough I expected it to last at least a couple of weeks with a puppy but its not.

My dog would chew through a Kong toy in 30mins but this thing is great. She carries it all round the house, wrestles with it, play tug of war with it and of course chews it. She worked out how to make it squeak (which was funny for the first hour...) and even after chewing through it it still did squeak. I have been able to sew it up several times and it's still going. Just ordered another one for when this one get too disgusting to handle as she won't leave it down. She even seems to know it's name and when we ask 'where's snake' she goes to fetch it!

My 6 months old whippet puppy can't get enough of this snake toy. He drags it all around the house, chews it, plays with it and sleeps with it.

I think one of things he loves is that the toy is so long - he can be chewing on one end, and it makes the other end wiggle. So he drops the end he has and pounces on the other end.

The toy has what feels like a thin-ish rope in the middle, but a nice soft fuzz on the outside. I think it helps with his teething because he chews it almost constantly on the days he's teething the worst.

It has a squeaky in each end which is also a hit :)

Great toy, as soon as we got it she wanted to play with it in the car... most of her toys she goes though fast like ripping them but this one took her a long time to get though and we even managed to sow it which is great... would recommend this item to anyone with a playful dog!

After reading the reviews I had high hopes for this but I'm very disappointed.

The squeakers were out in less than an hour and the head has been ripped off! They can still play with it but for the price I expected a lot more.

I have two playful dogs that love pulling their toys to shreds (affectionately of course)! I am so pleased with this snake - it's quite long and so robust that they happily play tug of war with one another. I like that there is a rope all the way through it, makes it feel bony! There are two squeakers - one in the head and one in the tail, so they can both make a bit of noise. As an added cutness, there is a rattle in the end of it's tail!
I'm hoping to find more in this range!

This is probably the nicest dog toy I have found. My pup and my adult dog love to play with it together, one on each end. It has no stuffing in the body and a rope 'backbone' inside, so it's robust and difficult for them to rip up.

Bought this for my five month old pup. Now seven months and it's still one of his favourite toys. It makes for a great wrastling toy, is satisfyingly heavy for pulling aroundthe place and with a squeak at each end (plus a rattle in the tail) whichever end he's chewing I can tempt him with the other. Much fun and swapping of ends.

After buying this my German Pointer/ Collie
Cross pays hardly any attention to his other toys! He absolutely loves it. Very tough which is great as he normally finds it easy to tear toys apart. Off to buy another as one of our other dogs decided to chew a hole in it. Would recommend!
