i bought this food about a month ago after being given a fish tank with tropical fish, although i added some new fish to the tank they all seem fine on the food vibrant colours my 3 spot gourami as actually grown in lenght, the red honey gourami is nearly double of his original size from the store (also bought a month ago) its like having fish on steroids haha currently use it to feed 1 3 spot gourami, 1 red honey gourami, one siamese fighter, 3 angel fish and obviously any food that sinks to the bottom the plec eats it, overhaul the fish look healthy and vibrant and happy

This product which I have started using on my molly fish Taylor and she can't stop eating it but it does float to the bottom eventually
P.s. you need to improve on the sinking of the food!

well, this food is great, i have been using it for a long time and my fish (Rhonnie) loves it. the only problem is that the food floats on the top of the water, and the fish cannot get the food as easily. i got a new filter the other week and found that the food was pushed down by the, now, two filters, it is now easier for my fish to eat. other than that it is great food.

Good food but...

The food is good but when you put the flakes in you have to push them down beacuse they just float at the top and my platies don't eat them when they are at the top of the tank. So I just think that it is a bit of a pain to have to push the flakes down and I don't think that is is appropriate for all tropical fish.

The nature of Love Fish fish flakes is such that, due to the thin and light structure the flakes will naturally float on the surface of the water if just dropped into the tank. This is an inherent characteristic of flake food. The method for feeding fish with flakes is highlighted on the labelling whereby you should pinch some flakes between the fingers and push down into the water column. As an alternative LoveFish Tropical Pellets could be tried. The pellets offer the same nutritional values as the flake and are slow sinking.

I've had gouramis, plecs, tetras and catfish in my tanks and all have eaten this with no problems since day one. Lasts a long time and great value. The flakes are a bit large for some of my smaller fish but I just crumble them up before putting in

not as much as i though

it ok but it was a bit hard to get in but that might just be me also once i had open it. it was only full up about 75% of the pot and when u taped it it when down to to about 65% so was not to pleased don't think i will be buying it again

i have a parrot chiclid, i know we were sold it by accident, but not by pets at home they were the ones who told us about them. he loves these flakes so if you have any tropical fish you should def buy this
