Bought this as shop was out of my usual litter. Thought it would be as good or better - I thought wrong. Within 2 days the litter was very smelly, looked inside and it was all saturated. My cat does not wee anymore than average and we usually have no problems with litter. Was beginning to think I had done something wrong but reading other views on here it seems that perhaps it's just the litter. Will stick to my usual brand.

I recently bought this product as, having a house cat who therefore always has to toilet in the house, the idea of "ultimate odour control" was very attractive.

The only good thing I can say is that it was easy to pour in to the bin. Other than that it was absolutely awful.

It did not control odours, in fact we felt that the odours we were experiencing were far worse with this than with any other litter. Terrible ammonia smell and no odour control on poo whatsoever!

It's lightweight... which I suppose could be seen as a pro. But when it means that the cat it constantly tracking it about the house and tipping the box it's most definitely a con.

I will definitely not make the mistake of buying this product again and I strongly suggest that you don't either.

I bought this after reading great reviews and the hype on the box.

It has to be the worst litter we have ever used. Like the other reviewer, we have also suffered from the overpowering ammonia smell which emmanates from the tray when the cats have used it to urinate in.

This litter may stick to the poo but so does any litter - that is not a selling point.

Then you have the awful smell when the cats poo - this litter does not in any way reduce odour, in fact it amplifies it! I was stunned to suddenly be overwhelmed by the smell of cat poo whilst I was upstairs in my office. The litter tray is at the other side of the house in a downstairs utility room. I though tha cats had messed on the landing the smell was so overpowering. This litter is going in the bin today because I can't stand the smells any longer - and yes, we empty the tray several times per day.

Oh and as if the non-existant odour control properties aren't bad enough, the tracking is ridiculous - little white balls all over the house! They are brittle too, so they get squashed into the carpets.

Buy this litter at your peril, you will regret it.

bought this for my two persian kittens , everytime one uses the tray its all over the floor, like someones tore a bean bag open and poured all over my carpet

This litter is a god send. We have and adult cat and have just got a kitten. The kitten is from a rescue centre and has a bowel problem so he has very soft feces and very smelly. Every other litter me have tried has been surpassed by bob martins litter 100 fold. No smell. No mess. Perfect clumping and easy to use.

We seemed to be spending a lot of money on litter and with prices of everything going up, the suggestion of this stuff lasting so long without smells was very attractive so we gave it a go.

We opened the box 4 days ago and were impressed with the look of it, like polystyrene balls, i was feeling positive after poops were done as there was no smell and limited clump/cling so the pop was quickly scoopable and we had a clean tray.

After the first wee tho, it was another story, because of the ball shaped litter, all the wee tracked underneath and within 20mins it had absorbed and 90% of the trayfull was ruined.

So after binning that and rinsing the tray we tried again. All was well until I came home to that ammonia wee smell. This time it had clumped in the right place which was good but even after scooping, the ammount of wee/ammonia smell left in the tray was shocking and the cat wouldnt go near it even after scooping out the bad stuff and topping it back up with new.

Even cheaper litter allows a few days between "proper" cleans of the tray as it absorbs fully.

So its day 5 and we've got an upset cat and only a trayful of litter left in the box.

On a positive note, if you have a kitten, I would say this is ideal as wees arent as epic as with an adult cat and the balls are easier for digging for a kitten and much less tracking than other litters.

I have a 11 week old kitten and have used this from the day he came to stay with me. Although there is no odour from kitty's urine, I make sure I remove poo as soon as possible as the odour is not masked by the litter. Only need to fully change litter once a week, as guidelines advised and it is easy to dispose of and clean tray as the particles absorb all the moisture. Have used clay and pellets with previous cats and much prefer this product even though it might be slightly more expensive. Some tracking but easily swept up.
