I bought this bed for our Springer puppy,who has now out grown it our old Border terrier now uses it,the bed is approx 6 months old it is washed almost everyday,it dries quickly and still looks as good as new apart from the hairs which show easy due to the colour,which is the only downside,my two dogs found it very comfortable,I would recommend this bed.

I've been searching for a small dog bed for my terrier Timmy; he likes to curl up in an oval position and have the sides surround him, but everywhere I searched the beds were either too small or too big.. Until I found this one! It fits him just right and he quickly gave it his approval.

I also needed a bed that didn't have a separate cushion as Timmy likes to hide things in his bed and has quickly ripped the thin underside in other beds. This one is fully integral.

As the description says, it is a basic bed and the sides wouldn't hold up to being pushed against by a dog, they are soft and would collapse under the pressure.

The only other possible problem is that it's not that padded, so if your dog wants extra comfort it might not be for him/her, but I easily solved that with a cheap fleecy throw.

I can't say how it wears, as I've only had it two weeks, and I can't assess how it copes with being chewed as my dog just doesn't chew.

I think this would make a good first bed for a large breed puppy as well as an every day bed for a smallish sized terrier.
