Many pets will naturally chew toys, which can damage such items. Remove and replace this toy if it becomes excessively damaged through general use or chewing.

This is an amazing product that my rabbit and I were lucky to find. He can pull the carrots out, stripe the base and can even be found lying or sitting on it. Definately a new favourite for an oldie, who was never particularly interested in toys, - maybe I was just bringing the wrong ones home!!!

wow!!! my rabbit loves this. What the rabbit dose is pull ot the carrots from therir holes, nibble them abit then even put them back in again! Since getting this my rabbit seemed more aware of her surronding and clever, even though shes not getting any younger. It's great for the price and isd recomend it to any one.Its best to get it while you bunnys young if youre intending it to teach youre rabbit as it grows up, though any agrd rabbit will soon get the nack of it!

i got my rsabbit this but in a week it was destroyed and looked a mess, so it did last me very long so i was aa bit dissapointed because i thought it would last a long time, i kept it in my run out side which was a bad idea because when it got wet it started to peeel off. i was a biut conserned about that i could see glue

I bought the smaller version of this at another pet shop whilst i was buying hay. I got back and put my rabbits in their run, after eating a bit of grass they looked bored, so i stuck the veggy patch in. They loved it!!!!!! They were ripping the leaves of the carrots and with no help at all with out a bolt ripping the carrots out and flinging them at each other! Extremely entertaining! Its still intact with a bit of poo smeared over it but nevertheless i always find it in a different place! :D

As soon as my rabbit was introduced to this toy she was pulling the carrots out... I would probably be inclined to use this product just at playtimes rather than leaving in the cage, as i woke up this morning to find it had been chewed to bits! The carrots however, are still intact.

I bought this product for my 5 month old mini lop rabbit (she is quite timid and not really destructive). She absolutely loved it! I thought it was great to see her tossing out the carrots and jumping all over it. Although initially I thought this was great- 48 hours later there was practically nothing left of it! She had stripped it completely so it was down to the bare card and glue and managed to poo into all the little holes for the carrots. It obviously had kept her entertained but I had to remove it as I was worried about her eating the glue, it was also difficult to clean after she had used it as a toillet! I would buy this product again but not for a while as it is a bit pricey to say it only lasted 2 days.

Our rabbit spends most of his time in our kitchen, choosing mainly to just play with his treat ball (who wouldn't). We tried a log type toy, but he hasn't gone near it, but I got the veg patch and within the hour he was playing with the carrots, brushing his nose and cheek around the base and even tearing it up a little. He really enjoys it.

I don't think this product will last more than a fortnight, so can only be bought on special occasions but I think it's a nice way to keep my rabbit stimulated while I'm at work. I even swapped one of the fake carrots with a real one. He loved that.

guinea pig loves this if you only have one small pet deffenetly buy one because it will keep them happy. Also if they dont like hard food its great for their teeth. Buy one its worth it.

My rabbit really enjoyed her carrot mat but she is both a digger and a chewer. She can be incredibly destructive and had pretty much ruined her carrot mat within the first day by pulling all of the straw off leaving only solid wood and the carrot holes. I would recommend this as a toy that is given to the bunny when they are looking for something else to do because for[$] it's not cheap to replace each week. She really loved pulling the carrots out and rubbing her chin all over them though. The carrots are easily destroyed too as they are only bits of rope and cardboard but you can purchase replacements or make your own. I sometimes replace one with a real carrot, she's over the moon when she notices. :)

Our rabbit isn't really into traditional bunny toys but she LOVES this. She is a chewer and really goes to town on it. She loves to pull out the carrots and chew them, she claws all the little coloured frilly bits off the top and chews the straw off the edges. She totally trashes it so there's nothing left except the card base! My only complaint is that it doesn't last very long (but I think thats more my destructive rabbit than the product). Replacement carrots or refresher covers might be a cheaper alternative to buying a whole new one (if they did them). This usually lasts our lop tilly about 2-3 weeks before there's absolutely nothing left of it except pieces.
