I have an eight month old Golden Retriever who is well trained to heel but has the odd blip. This lead is a perfect length and weight and the handle is incredibly comfortable. I suffer with terribly cracked hands and previous leads, both nylon and leather hurt, but this one is brilliant. Thouroughly recommend.

We recently re-homed an active and fairly strong 9 month old springer pup. He currently pulls whilst walking, even with a halti or easy walk harness. This lead squeezes the hand in the main handle/loop and cannot be held with a 2nd hand further down its length due to the discomfort if your dog pulls (friction/cutting). If held with a single hand I found the lead ever so slightly short, whereby if the dog crosses your path you may inadvertently catch its back legs. There is no question over the leads strength however is probably better suited to a dog that is trained to walk to heel.

Good well made lead. Bought to replace a pets at home own brand lead the padding around the handle had split and was uncomfortable, this one has nice soft padding. A bit longer than the last lead and for just under £4.50 in store a good buy.
