This burrow box has a sliding floor that is not suitable for gerbils as they can trap their tails in it (I know from experiance). I have told 2 Pets at Home stores now but the product remains on the shelf and is still marked for gerbils.

my one dwarf hamster loves it and has berried himself right into it where as my other one has burrowed under the whole house not using it. i did buy it in the box expecting the ladder but no ladder was in it. please check the box before you take it home!

I have two little female mice. They both love it and have made part of it their nest. They are constantly climbing on it and popping their heads out the hole at the top.

I saw this and i thought what fun my hamster would have with it..
I put it in his cage and he walked up to the top,sniffed it,walked back
down again and on to his wheel.
2 weeks on and i have never seen him on it.
it's a shame because i'd loved to see him dig in it.
maybe my hamster's not in to digging.
