Woodlands Mini Alfalfa Bales Treats for Small Pets 500gm are delicious 100% sun dried alfalfa hay cubes that make a highly nutritious treat for the Woodland's gang.

Carrot, the Rabbit, and Thistle, the Guinea Pig, love to exercise together and these cubes are high in fibre and protein, making them a great supplement to any pet's diet.

Ingredient(s):

Sun Dried Alfalfa Hay (100%).

The way nature intended. You can't improve on nature, so we don't add any colourants, flavourings or preservatives.

Typical Analysis:

Moisture 13%, Protein 16%, Oils and Fats 1%, Fibre 29%, Ash 9%.

Feeding Guide (approximate per day)

Small pets love these snacks at anytime, especially when they've been good.

They are not just an indulgence as they form part of a balanced diet.

Feed 1 or 2 bales daily depending on the size of your pet.

Be careful not to give them too many as they love them so much they might over-indulge.

Please always ensure that fresh drinking water is available.

Pets should be supervised at all times whilst feeding.

I have just started to feed these to my guinea pig to help him along through the bitterly cold winter, he has hay, vegetables and burgess nuggets as well as these. Although they aren't his favourite (he would rather broccoli), he does eat them. I have read that they aren't particularly good for pigs unless they are babies, or have babies, but I think that it is a good supplement during the winter months.

At first my baby bunny didn't touch these but I left 1 in her cage incase she wanted to try and VOILA by morning it was half nibbled at and since then she just loves them. She doesn't touch them if she's full and has had a lot of hay to eat which is good as one mini bale has lasted several days! She's only about 3 months old so she's tiny and still a baby and needs a lot of fibre in her diet so these are perfect! I prefer these to buying alfalfa hay which is quite pricey in Pets at Home and these last a lot longer and help keep her teeth trim =)

My hay loving rabbit (14 weeks old) just sniffs these and hops off. She is completely uninterested in them which is a shame considering the price! I could just have a fussy rabbit but she loves to eat hay!

At first they didnt seem to bother with them, so had them sitting in the cupboard for a while, but I recently put a few in the cage and they havent left them alone since I put them in. I have 7 bunnies in total, and they are all nibbling them. Glad I have re-tried them with them, just dont think I will buy often with the price.

I give these to my four rabbits at bed time and they get really excited as soon as they hear me pick up the packet. They are house rabbits but go in a cage at night and they charge back into the cage as soon as they know i've got them which saves me chasing them!

My Degus really like these treats. The only problem is that the blocks are huge. I try to break them up as much as I can, but they are really tough. It would be really helpful if they also sold them in smaller size bales for people with smaller pets!

Both of my bunnies are very greedy and love food, this is the only treat I have managed to find that they both dislike! We have had the bag for a year now and we are still un successfully trying without even a nibble.

I offered these numerous times to my 3 rabbits and 2 foster guinea pigs and none of them were remotely interested! I dont reccomend Alfalfa for rabbits or guinea pigs over 6 months, but its a great nutritional supplement for young rabbits and guinea pigs under 6 months. If theyre interested in them, of course!
