Authorised Veterinary Medicines

The Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2007 (SI No 2745)* is new legislation which allows the retail of some veterinary medicines that were previously only available through veterinary prescription.

These medicines can now be prescribed by suitably qualified persons. In order to sell these products online; once a customer has placed an order our suitably qualified person (SQP) will telephone them and ensure that they are satisfied that the customer is competent to use the product and that they will be using it for its correct purpose.

The product will be dispatched separately from other items in the order to ensure the delivery time for the rest of the order is not affected.
