Picnic Time

Picnic Time

Every weekday afternoon at 4pm, and at 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, children can attend Picnic Time - an interactive learning session where they can watch our pets being fed their healthy afternoon snacks, learn about their feeding habits and how to care for pets responsibly. Picnic Time gives our teams the opportunity to share their knowledge on feeding and caring for pets.

See how we feed our pets in store...

Our feeding routine is beneficial for the pets’ digestive systems and health, helping to reduce the risk of indigestion, bloat and upset tummies.

Early Morning
It’s important to give our furry friends a good start to the day with some of their favourite foods. Plenty of Timothy Hay is perfect for our rabbits, guinea pigs, degus and chinchillas. For our hamsters, gerbils and rats we have a range of nuggets and mixes that are ideal to keep them healthy and full of energy.

Mid Morning
Some of our pets enjoy a light snack of nuggets or pellets as they get a little hungry towards lunchtime.

Afternoon Snack
After all that running around and playing our pets love to enjoy their favourite snacks including a healthy choice of vegetables, seeds or flakes or a small quantity of fruit.

Please Remember:
Rabbits and guinea pigs should always have hay to gnaw on. Chinchillas and degus should only have a very small piece of fruit a couple of times each week as they are prone to diabetes.

Our team will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about how to feed your pets to keep them happy and healthy.
