Pests

It is thought that chickens attract vermin, when in fact it is the availability of nutritious food. Chickens should have access to food throughout the day, however to avoid unwanted pests, clear up any spills and make sure you only feed your chickens what they need. You may also want to consider suspending feeders, as this will reduce the amount of food on the floor and therefore reduce the risk of pests.
