" Hello my name is Alison McInnes and I am the Store Manager for Pets At Home Inverness.

I love working for Pets at Home because we have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the team and the company. There is a lot of variety within the job which always keeps it interesting and challenging. We have a very loyal customer following which makes the day to day running of the store fun and friendly. Our team are continually learning new things and are keen to complete any training to improve our level of customer service and general knowledge. In our store we have a bunny village which has guinea pigs and rabbits. We also have our small animal units which contain a variety of hamsters, gerbils, rats, degus and chinchilla's. This has proved to be a big attraction in our store as we do a lot of school tours and nursery tours for our local community. We also have a wide selection of fish in our aquatics department with a variety of tanks to choose from. We work with local charity's to raise money for them and have a Support Adoption Centre which is linked with the SSPCA and The Boxer Welfare Society. Our Support Adoption Centre has been a huge success as we have successfully rehomed many animals.
