Mike Southwick, Store Manager

Mike came to Pets at Home in July 2009 and is a football fanatic. Having worked away from Scarborough for the past ten years he is now meeting lots of old friends who shop in our store and loves working with the community to raise responsible pet ownership.Mike enjoys spending any spare time with his two boys.

Expertise: PCT Animal Management / Reptile Specialist / SQP / Qualified First Aider / IOSH Qualified / Step 1 / Step 2

Pets: Tropical Fish / Leopard Gecko called Sir Alex.

Steve Wardle, Deputy Manager

Steve has been with Pets at Home since the Scarborough store opened in December 2008 and loves everything about his job. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kate, his pets and his Playstation 3. Steve originates from Buxton in Derbyshire but loves all the community work he gets to do through Pets at Home. He's most proud of his OATA (Ornamental Aquatics Trade Association) qualification and his SQP qualification in flea and worm products.

Pets: Tropical Fish, Crested Gecko called Alf, Bearded Dragon called Bernard and 3 Cats called Furby, Simba and Timmy.

Viv Downes, Store Colleague

Viv has been with Pets at Home since the Scarborough store opened in December 2008. She loves learning about all the animals and is a well respected member of the team for her knowledge. Viv is currently studying to become an Assistant Manager through the Rising Stars training scheme operated through Pets at Home.

Expertise: Step 1 / Step 2 / Step 3 / Reptile Trained

Pets: 4 Cats called Lemmington, Luna, Leelou and Lupe
