With over 50 grooming salons and plans to open up to a further 20 new salons over the next 12 months we’re keen to develop our people, and with a clear structure in our salons this creates a fantastic career path.

Assistant Stylists

We offer a comprehensive in-house training programme, made up of 3 levels and taking a year to complete which, on completion will develop Assistant Stylists into Stylists.

We also offer an intensive fast track programme whereby Assistant Stylists are made into Stylists.  This scheme is used when the needs of the business dictate but we’re keen to develop as many people as possible.

Stylists

We offer various in-house training courses which are designed to provide our Stylists with a broader skillset and keep them up-to-date with the latest trends.  Some of these courses involve cat grooming, first aid and breed specific courses.

For those Stylists who show potential and are eager to develop into Salon Manager’s we have a workbook for them to complete which covers everything but grooming!  The Salon Manager’s role involves much more as well as being a fantastic groomer and therefore the workbook covers all the additional things which our Salon Manager’s do in their role, such as driving sales, commerciality, rota planning and building and developing teams to name just a few!

Salon Managers

All of our Salon Managers have a workbook to complete which covers everything but grooming!  The Salon Manager’s role involves much more as well as being a fantastic groomer and therefore the workbook covers all the additional things which our Salon Manager’s do in their role, such as driving sales, commerciality, rota planning and building and developing teams to name just a few!

We are keen to train our Salon Managers to be a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) in dispensing licensed medicines and this comes with a financial reward as part of our ‘Earn as you learn’ scheme.
