The Nitrate Removal Filter Sponge is designed for encouraging a healthier environment for your fish by thoroughly removing harmful nitrate from tank water, making it an essential component of the JUWEL filter system. These sponges can also be used in all aquariums that have the same or similar filtering system to the JUWEL filter system or BioFlow 3.0.

How to use:
Remove sponge from all packaging and after thoroughly rinsing it under running water, insert the sponge into the filter basket, ensuring the required order of different types of sponges inside the filter is considered.
Then place the filter basket into filter housing and ensure the cover is securely in place before placing inside your aquarium.

Product Care
Replace every six weeks.
Warnings and Safety
Ensure that the product is sufficiently clean to ensure sufficient use of the product and rinsed thoroughly before installation. Ensure the sponge is replaced at the recommended rate so that water quality is maintained.
