Tetra Pond CrystalWater quickly and effectively removes clouding from outdoor ponds. With carefully selected minerals, the active ingredients work to bind together small dirt particles within the water which can then then be extracted by the pond filter or with a net, with initial results visible within hours.

Suitable for:

Ponds.

Not suitable for:

Aquariums. Not suitable for sturgeon-like fish and invertebrates such as snails, shrimps and other crustaceans.

Important information:

Ensure that the carbonate hardness (KH) of the water is equal or higher than 6 degrees dH prior to each use. Use Tetra Pond Test to check your water values and, if the level is too low, the carbonate hardness should be increased in a controlled manner using a product such as Tetra Pond WaterStabiliser (each sold separately). Do not use to combat algae. Use Tetra Pond AlgoRem (sold separately) to combat green water (suspended algae). For best results, wait four to five days between treating the algae and using Tetra Pond CrystalWater.

Warnings and Safety:

If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read carefully and follow all instructions. Keep only in original packaging. Warning: May be corrosive to metals.

How to use:

Shake well before use. Using the dosing cap, add 50 ml Tetra Pond CrystalWater per 1,000 litres of pond water. For best results, ensure the product is mixed thoroughly into the pond water.
Usage Instructions: To treat clouding, add 5ml per 10 litres of aquarium water. Add 2.5ml per 10 litres if the KH value is below 3 dH. Wait for at least 48 hours between applications. After using a water conditioner such as Tetra AquaSafe, wait for 24 hours before using Tetra CrystalWater. The filter should be cleaned regularly for optimum results. Note: When the product takes effect, the active ingredients release a white cloud that is harmless and disperses within a few hours.

  • Takes 5 days to clear murky pond

    I have used this many times over the years in different styles of koi ponds. I have koi with goldfish and the water can get murky after a few months. The pond pump filter is cleaned every two weeks but the water needs a little help. I simply drop cap fulls of this into the water and wait at least 5 days to see the difference. It is amazing.
