Our cat Woody has used your Microswitch cat flap for about 9 years now, this is the third one in succession he has had in that time. Fair to say he (and indeed us) quickly acclimatises himself to the new cat flap. The instructions are clear and the assembly and programming are quite straight forward. All in all a very good reasonably priced product and delivery was effected within a couple of days.

Cat flap is good, works well and does the job you need it to. This is my third one of these over the years; the last one I've replaced because the dial was getting a bit "grindy" from years of use, and it was hard to get it set just in the right place. It was way way way past it's warranty, so happy with how long it's lasted, and just ordered the same again. 5 stars for the product. The instructions however, need help. One sheet of paper that covers some things and not others, then the rest of the info is in the booklet. It still takes me by surprise that I have to drill into the cat flap housing, which I re-discover every time, when the screws don't fit through it. Why on earth are the screw holes not big enough? And that step isn't show in any fitting instruction videos. Then I'm doubting myself, that I need to drill holes in it... Grrr. And why doesn't the QR code take you to the fitting video for just this product, and not to the landing page for every Closer Pet product video? 2 stars for the instructions.

My cat wont use the new cat flap. I had a manual one before, however I think he wons either the tunnel on the outside he has to try and go through or the clicking noise if the microchip recognition that spooks him. Thus is driving me mad.

Really good cat flap. This is the second I have had a fault occurred on the first with a year and the UK Closer Pets team (Sue) were fabulous and sent out a new one within a few days as you get a three year warranty.
