The South American Limnobium Laevigatum is a floating plant with long and decorative roots great for providing shelter for surface fish. If there are enough nutrients in the water and the light intensity is good, new leaves will appear above the water surface. When the nutrient level in the water decreases, it will grow much slower.

Step 1: Carefully take the plant out of the cup and rinse off the growing media under the tap.
Step 2: Split the plant in 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors (for small foreground plants).
Step 3: Plant portions into the substrate using tweezers. Then watch them grow!
If the growth becomes too luxuriant, it can be pruned with scissors.
