A collar should fit comfortably but make sure you can pass two fingers between collar and neck. Check carefully under the collar for redness or hair loss caused by an ill-fitting collar. Remember that puppies grow fast and their collars will need adjusting regularly and eventually replacing.

Warnings and Safety
It's a legal requirement under the Control of Dogs Order 1992 for a dog to wear a collar and tag in a public place. This is a dog accessory only and not suitable for children. Please remove your dogs collar before placing them in a crate or leaving them unattended. Replace the collar at first signs of damage or if parts become detached. Seek immediate veterinary attention if any material is ingested as this may pose a CHOKING HAZARD. When using liquid flea treatments on your dog, please remove their collar first to prevent any damage to the material and buckle.
