The Beaphar CatComfort Excellence Calming Diffuser is a simple and effective solution to help reduce problem behaviour in cats, such as meowing, furniture destruction, urinary marking, excessive licking and scratching, or general feelings of anxiety. It is beneficial when cats are faced with new experiences, such as multi-cat households, social situations, a new family, fireworks, and learning periods.

Beaphar CatComfort Excellence contains a copy of the naturally produced Feline Facial Pheromone (FFP), which gives a continuous and reassuring message to let cats know that this is a safe area for them to be in, and the Maternal Appeasing Pheromone (MAP) which helps promote bonding and harmony in households with more than one cat. The easy-to-use plug-in diffuser can be placed in any area of the house, and is effective for up to 30 days with continual use before a refill is required.

Composition

F3 feline facial pheromone analogue, Maternal Appeasing Pheromone analogue, Isoparaffinic Hydrocarbon q.s

Product Care:

Store in a cool, well-ventilated safe place, until ready to use. Protect from sunlight. Once empty, dispose of the packaging in the household rubbish.

Warnings and Safety:

May be fatal if swallowed. In cases of oral ingestion, contact the poisons centre immediately. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical advice. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces – no smoking. Do not use near a naked flame or any incandescent material. Do not inhale. Avoid contact with eyes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Keep out of reach of children.

How to use:

Always fully read the product leaflet and packaging before use. For indoor use only.

1. Use the diffuser in the room your cat spends most of their time.
2. Use continuously, do not switch off when leaving the house or overnight.
3. Replace the refill reservoir with a new Beaphar CatComfort 30 Day Refill after 30 days, or when empty.
4. Replace the plug-in diffuser every six months to ensure optimal performance.
5. Use one diffuser per 70㎡.
6. Use with a 230V plug socket only.

For best results:
- Don't use with a multi-socket, extension cord, an adaptor or a converter
- Don't use a different brand refill reservoir with Beaphar CatComfort Excellence Calming Diffuser, doing so could pose a fire risk
- Don't use near open windows/doors or drafts as this will reduce how well the diffuser works

  • Not right for my cat

    The product gets quite hot when plugged in and I haven't noticed a discernable difference in my cat's behaviour. She may have been marginally more chilled out. Would probably work better for other cats but not the right product for mine.

    I have always been skeptical about these kinds of products, so was pleasantly surprised! We had our friends dog come to stay for a weekend. Plugged this in the week before and there were no signs of stress, even from our nervous wee girl. Highly recommend

  • Beware of burning

    I've used this now for 2 months, the first time there was no problem, the diffuser helped the cats but towards the end of the 2nd month it smelt like burning, the plug itself smelt like burning, it could be a huge fire risk so please be careful
