The Catit PIXI Drinking Fountain is strikingly cat-like in appearance, yet highly ergonomic and user-friendly. PIXI's little paws make the fountain easy to pick up for refills, while the cute ears help prevent water spills and splashes. Even PIXI's nose and whiskers are super convenient and serves as a backlit water level window. The Catit PIXI Fountain provides your cat with a continuous source of fresh, filtered water. Running water encourages cats to drink more, which helps prevent urinary tract diseases, and the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable drinking position. The included filter removes debris, odours and impurities from your cat's drinking water. In addition, the water is softened by reducing magnesium and calcium levels (replacement filters sold separately). PIXI's clever backlit LED light flashes red when water is low and stays red when it's out of water and the intelligent pump shuts down when out of water to prevent damage.

How to use:
- Fill the reservoir halfway.
- Place the fountain in the right spot and plug in.
- Top up until the water level is above the PIXI fountain's nose.
Product Care
- Unplug the fountain.
- Empty the reservoir while holding the top firmly in place.
- Lift the top by the white stick and detach the pump from the top (Never disconnect the pump cord).
- Remove slimy build up with a paper towel.
- Rinse all fountain parts with water.Remove the filter from its base and rinse separately - Never use soap on the filter.
Regularly clean the top with a soft cloth to prevent limescale deposits.
To remove limescale - Place the stainless steel top in the dishwasher. Be careful, the edges can be sharp. For a more thorough cleaning, use dish soap and a soft cloth. Rinse abundantly.
- Clean the pump at least once every 2 months.
- First remove the pump cap, next remove the impeller cap.
- Use the pump cap to take out the impeller cap more easily.
- Remove the impeller from its casing - Use a set of tweezers if needed.
- Rinse each part separately.
- Make sure to remove any hairs and dirt.
- Reassemble the pump and the fountain.
