I bought this toy for my cat who has 2 catnip bananas! I couldn't find a new banana so bought the cactus. It does seem to have a catnip smell. However, my cat prefers the banana shape to play with and scratch, so unfortunately a waste of money as he won't play with it.

Our three cats absolutely loved it- one is currently playing with the cardboard backing the catnip is that appealing to them! If your cats are into catnip definitely recommended

I have 3 cats who fight Iver who gets the cactus so I have to have 3 minimum in the house at any given time

re-purchasing as the other one has been used EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for the past year. It has coped with rabbit-feet kicks and aggressive biting from my giant 6kg havana male cat. He is now 13 and refuses to engage with all other toys, but will meow and pester if he cannot find his beloved catnip cactus. he is OBSESSED.

My cat went wild for this toy, loved it but it only lasted a day and a half before it was ripped and the catnip was spilling out and we had to dispose of it.
