[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always buy this for my cat, he like one can per day with Purina dry food. The problem is some batches are not consistent and he feels it the second I open the can. I sometimes notice a burnt pulses smell. This not only a waste of money but also really frustrating as he doesn't get near the food and gets grumpy attacking me! I currently have the rest of a box -fish flavour- minus 3 cans already wasted going in the bin! Not the 1st time sometimes it's half of the box- one of the recipes too. I don't know how to return in this case and I don't usually keep receipts for food.
My orange cat Billy has always been a bit of a fussy eater and I've tried her on a lot of different cat food. Finally found something she'll eat in the gourmet tins. Unfortunately she only really likes one flavour (chicken) in the pack but thankfully I have other cats who will eat the turkey ones. I'm just glad I found a food that she will actually eat.
My cat has become very fussy turning her nose up at other foods but since buying this food she eats it all
My cat will always sniff this food when we put it down but something about it seems to turn him away. I can't tell if maybe the gravy being so watery isn't appealing to him or if the chunks of vegetables are just unknown to him and so not seen as a food option. I think they would be good food for the right cat but don't work for mine.
So neither my cats favourite but they definitely prefer the Turkey rather than the chicken. Neither were overly fussed so I don't think I would get this for them again
One of my cats goes absolutely wild for this chicken and turkey combo. She usually turns her nose up at mixed flavours, but this one disappears fast every time.
