Perfect ??. I have a wavy cavapoo and she will mat very easily round her ears, tummy and tail. I tried this because the claws are short so no tugging occurs. The claws cut through any mats so easily and by her reaction painlessly. Using the tool on other thicker areas of fluff, again cuts through any developing problems easily, and means I can just use her wide toothed comb on a day to day basis with no pulling and tugging. I am using this claw tool once or twice a fortnight and keeping mats at bay. Other similar tools the claws have been longer and seemed to pull, this one is perfect for her length of short fluffy coat

Smidge is getting on a bit. He's an old cat who used to be fastidious with his grooming. But he needs a wee bit of help now. But he hates being brushed and combed. I have the scars to proove it! Happily though, for some reason, he accepts his fate with this fabby rake, even purring whilst I attended to his mats near his hind quarters and neck. Ok so he did swipe when he had enough but, take the win and we got the worst done. So yeah, and thanks to the lovely young lady in the Portsmouth branch who helped and advised me.

We have two rescue kangols with double coats. They shed constantly. It is by far the worst I have ever experienced in over 40 years of owning dogs. I have bought so many grooming tools to address this problem. This tool is by far the best. is so good and effortlessly strips the hair and undercoat. I have to use this tool outdoors as it just removes so much !! We now own two of these.

I've 2 Mainecoons, one has keeps his really looks after himself and a lady one that always looks like she's just exited a bush. It's the best D-knotter I've come across. And removes under coat too.
