How to use:
Clicker training is a popular, fun and reward based method to train your dog. However, it is important that it is done correctly so please follow the tips below:
- A click must always be followed by a reward in the initial training stages. If you accidentally click you must still reward.
- We suggest that you position the clicker behind your back or by your side.
- To build effectiveness, only ever use the clicker to tell your pet that they have done the right thing.
- Only perform one click for each correct behaviour and ensure that the click follows the exact moment your dog performs the intended behaviour.
- Train for short periods and repeat the sessions a few times a day to build the effectiveness.
