Cats who love the outdoors and spend a lot of time outside tend to face a higher risk of infections than indoor cats do; they're also susceptible to other potential health threats such as fighting with other cats, as well as exposure to extreme weather conditions. If your cat is partial to the outdoors then it's important to ensure that its diet effectively supports its natural defences.

Royal Canin Outdoor is specially formulated with the specific needs of outdoor cats in mind and contains all the nutritional support required for your active, outdoor cat. Royal Canin Outdoor has a high calorie content to ensure that it meets the nutritional requirements for cats like yours that have an active lifestyle. Having a high-energy diet will also help your cat cope with various weather changes throughout the seasons. Developed with a special formula of nutritional antioxidants, Royal Canin Outdoor helps to support your cat's immune system; while the inclusion of prebiotics support the intestinal flora to help maintain optimal intestinal health. The specific combination of nutrients will support your cat's skin barrier as well as the general health and condition of its skin and coat. In both urban and rural areas, outdoor cats are naturally curious and will usually find something to explore. To assist your cat's strenuous moments, such as running, leaping and climbing, Royal Canin Outdoor contains a combination of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) to support joint health.

At Royal Canin they're committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet's needs. All of their products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food as well as catering to your cat's specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats Royal Canin Outdoor, it's getting a complete and balanced diet.

Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the need of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.

  • My cat lives it.

Misty isn't fussed about wet food but loves his dried food. There are a few that he's tried, but Royal Canin Outdoor Cat is most definitely his favourite by far. The 4kg bag is just the right size if you have only 1 cat.

  • My cats go crazy for Royal Canin

This dry cat food is very satisfying and nutritious for my cats - they, 2 of them, have thrived on it for over 10 years - glossy coats and very active too.

  • Outdoor cats like but…

Nuggets are a little too big .. cats would prefer smaller … I base this on observing other brands

  • Even cats who don't like biscuits will eat these!

I feed 2 stray cats & whilst they will eat biscuits they prefer wet food. However, they're more likely to eat these biscuits and as they are strays i feel they get better nutritional value with this.
