Great chew gnawer hamster always chewing it

My degus, Barley and Chestnut need lots of things to gnaw or else they take to chewing the skirting board. They love these wooden carrots. For some reason they always devour the orange one first!

My mice don't like to chew them but I bought them to use for climbing so this is fine. Would be better if they were a more natural colour. They are also quite small which is fine for mice but may not be so good for rabbits etc.

Willow loves them

Harmless enough pet chew, but we bought a few for our various pets and friend's pets, and none of them were at all able to chew this. We're talking 3 Syrian hamsters, 2 dwarf hamsters and 4 gerbils. It's good that it bolts onto the side of a cage but the round-all-over shape of the wood means that none of the rodents could get their teeth into it. Our gerbils opted to eat an entire plastic house over nibbling on this.
