[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this item doesn't work for me. I can't seem to get the hair to trim between my Spaniel's paws

So I read all the instructions, and did as it said. However when I used it, it was incredibly loud. So I was giving my cat treats to be okay with the sounds. But it started to heat up, and then it stopped working after 3 minutes of use. I checked the compartment and the battery was incredibly hot and had a very bad toxic plastic burning smell with smoke arising from it. This could have easily injured my cat. And for this product for being especially made for cats it's absolutely devastating that this product is sold. It put me and my cat in danger. If you are willing to buy a this after the experience I had with it you are willing to put your pet into danger.

I bought this to trim around a puppy’s face but the trimmer was far too noisy and disturbing, very much louder than a larger Wahl clipper I have. Had to return it.
