Pets at Home Rope Small Animal Climbing Frame

My boyfriend woke up to a loud banging noise and we came in to find our hamster tied up, his torso and legs wrapped tightly, constricted in the rope, if my boyfriend hadn't have woken he would've died.

Good quality wood safe for nibbling which is all my hamster did .. shame because looks really fun

I bought this climbing frame for my two lineolated parakeet's. They are playing happily and sometimes they are sleeping on the top. Good quality.

My hamster really liked climbing this and chewing all the ropes and wood off, but unfortunately he almost sawed his leg off, he must have got stuck, hung by his leg, not worth it.

Would probably recommend for a small rat/mouse as long as it is checked often for signs of breaking/ripping .. however I don't think this is suitable for a hamster, seeing as they are not particularly good at climbing and it is to much of a risk for them getting their limbs caught in the rope or in the wood. This said, I think it is still a nice piece of enrichment for a rats cage or more flexible small animal.
