Veterinary surgeon John Burns began making dog food in 1993 to help dogs stay healthy, creating simple, natural, highly digestible recipes. He'd seen how poor diets caused skin, digestive and behaviour issues. To this day, Burns still follow that same straightforward approach - wholesome ingredients, solid science and a focus on what dogs truly need.

Composition: Brown Rice (58%), Dried Lamb (24%), Oats, Lamb Fat, Peas, Seaweed (0.5%), Minerals.

Sensitive adult dogs: 10g per 1kg of body weight per day (for dogs who do better on smaller meals, especially those with delicate digestion). Senior dogs: 8g per 1kg of body weight per day (for older or less active dogs). Every dog is different; adjust the quantity to suit your dog’s individual needs. You may need to reduce the amount you feed for several reasons, such as if your dog is neutered, less active, or fussy. Overeating can lead to digestive issues. For dogs that are overweight, base the daily feeding amounts on their target weight rather than their current weight. You may also need to increase the daily amount for a more active dog.     I have been buying Burns for many years, Will continue. Now on our 4th dog. Our vet said they all in good condition, happy with that. Follow the weight guide and your dog should be at it's best weight an condition. I recommend Burns.

    My dog has been eating Burns dog feed all his life and he has reached the ripe old age of 14. His sister only died a couple of months ago. I think that speaks for itself. Good nutrition and care the recipe for longevity.
