This Indoor Cage is intended as a temporary...
Good cage.Only problem is that the wheel is not big enough for a Syrian hamster it needs to be slightly bigger but over all good cage.??
Plenty of space for enhancement activities, easy to access and quick to clean.
Our new Hamster seems to really love her home & enjoys exploring it. It's big enough & the bright colours makes it nice to look at. Plenty of space to add our own wee toys/hideouts too. Despite having plenty of places to eat, sleep & use as a loo, she chooses to do it all in the top tube, making it a nightmare to keep clean. The tubes are terrible for taking apart & putting back together but it's the only way I can clean it. She uses her wheel to climb on but can't seem to get it going when in it. She is only 12 weeks old so maybe not got the strength yet?

Do not put hamsters in this cage it's not big enough! Do your research before purchasing a hamster and read the actual guidelines for hamster habitats, they need 6 to 10 inches of substrate (not shavings) so they can burrow and DO NOT make great pets for kids! They have a hugely varied diet including seeds and proteins since they're omnivores and the usual 'muesli' rubbish that is sold isn't suitable. Hamsters are not cheap to look after either! And they should be spot cleaned (removing small areas where they pee) and only a thorough cage clean infrequently, since cleaning their cages fully every week has been proven to make them stressed out! Also don't buy them hamster balls or cars as they're incredibly cruel. If you want bonding time sit in your empty bath on a rug and let them run around in that! Don't believe all that these 'pet stores' tell you and do your own
