Savic Manon Hooded Cat Litter Tray Grey

I bought a similar looking litterbox before, however my cat has gotten bigger so this is perfect

I find the Savic litter trays fantastic. I've used them for my 5 cats for over a year now. I use a very heavy litter that needs a 7cm depth for clumping and these trays have perfect depth and are sturdy. The shape is also easy to clean. I have both sizes of this tray. The clips on this size are built into the plastic and are very easy to attach and undo once you familiarise yourself with how this works. Contrary to other reviews, I haven't had any issues with the fastenings on this size. They are secure and the lid doesn't come off at all when fitted properly, although there is a slight technique so you don't force the plastic. It's probably worth spending a few minutes to figure this out before you start using it.

The cats didn't like the top part, so it lies unused. It would be a pain to have the top in place, too, when 'scooping' needing it to be unclipped - so instead I recommend a simple tray type cat litter tray. And clumping litter is best.

Really good for the job it does but it doesn't not click into place so the lid comes off really easily.

Value for money and very spacious for the price

Unfortunately I bought this before going on holiday so had no time to return it. The top does not fit the bottom clasp properly and therefore if carrying it the bottom falls off!
