Do not use rechargeable batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Never mix old batteries with new batteries (replace all batteries at the same time). Be sure to insert batteries with the correct polarities and always follow the product and battery manufacturers' instructions. Remove batteries from the product before any extended periods of storage. Always remove old or exhausted batteries from the product. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Check that the contact surfaces are clean and bright before installing batteries. Do not bury or burn batteries. Dispose of used batteries immediately and safely. Recycle batteries responsibly. To remove / replace batteries remove metal ring and screw, pull sides apart and dispose of battery responsibly. Ensure that both sides of the blinker are firmly pushed together and the securing screw and ring are fitted to close the battery box creating a circuit and preventing rain ingress/ child or pet access. Discontinue use immediately if damage occurs or parts become detached. Seek immediate veterinary attention if any material is ingested.
